Kristjana Carmen born and raised in Iceland, now living in Copenhagen Denmark since the year 2000.
Licensed esthetician, certified by Cidesco International in Copenhagen.
A few years later, completed a make-up Artist course in England, expanding passion for beauty and creativity, at London college of fashion.
From 2014- 2022, Kristjana was a co-owner of a retro beauty parlor in Copenhagen, Juicy Beauty, where she combined her love for vintage aesthetics, with modern beauty treatments. Managed a team and educated one cosmetic apprentice.
In addition to work in the beauty industry, she has a deep appreciation for interior design, all art, architecture, photography, vintage aesthetics and style.
Her love for traveling, exploring nature, new city´s and different cultures, and trying out new cuisines. Kristjana Carmen has lived in England as well as Iceland and Denmark.
Creativity and spirituality are central to her life. She practice Kundalini yoga and numerology, that fuels her passion for creating and connecting with others on a deeper level.
Fluent in English, Danish and Icelandic, and I has a good understanding of Norwegian and Swedish.

Interior. Design of salon.
In 2014 the retro salon Juicy Beauty in the heart of Norrebro Copenhagen opened on a small street called Egegade, in a lively neighborhood in Copenhagen. A combination of hairdresser and beauty salon.
The goal was to design a salon so bright, fun and colorful that would make everyone happy. And with retro atmosphere. The salon was in existence from 2014 - 2022.
Everything has it´s time and now it was time for new experience and new challenges.

To paint
I grew up in an artistic family. My father took me to photography and painting exhibitions as a child. It was a gift and a great inspiration for me.
The art of make-up
I have always been interested in expressing myself creatively. In 2000 I was employed in a make-up and skincare shop in Reykjavik Iceland. In 2005 I took a course in makeup artistry, and It developed into me starting to paint.
